We declare Psalms 51 over America.
“Purge (America) with hyssop, and she shall be clean; Wash (America), and she shall be whiter than snow.
Make (America) hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from (America’s) sins, And blot out all (America’s) iniquities.
Create in (America) a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within her.
Do not cast (America) away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from (America).
Restore to (America) the joy of Your salvation, And uphold (America) by Your generous Spirit.
Then (America) will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.
Deliver (America) from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of her salvation, And (America’s) tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
O Lord, open (America’s) lips, And her mouth shall show forth Your praise.
For You do not desire sacrifice, or else she would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.
Do good in Your good pleasure to (America); Build the walls of (America).” Psalms 51:7-18
O LORD. Look with favor upon America. Restore a right spirit. Rebuild the walls. Revive the church. Reach down in your might and power and deliver us from our enemies. Renew our resolve to take a stand and hold the line.
