Father God!
We take a moment in the middle of the week and remind ourselves that the devil is a liar! A big liar! He lied to Eve and he has been lying to mankind ever since. We declare God’s truth over the lies of the enemy.
“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:34
“In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:4
O Father of Light! We do not fall prey to his lies and his deceit. We do not fix our eyes on the darkness. We fix our eyes on the light. We open our eyes wide and keep them fixed on Jesus. We stand up as the mighty army of God and put on our belt of truth! We stand in the truth.
We resist the enemy and he must flee. We resist discouragement. We resist overwhelming feelings of loss. We resist hopelessness. We don’t lose! We can’t lose! O LORD! You said so and we believe it! We are victorious. We are overcomers. We are more than conquerors. We will rule and reign with our King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
“But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8
If they do not repent for their heinous sins, they will all burn. Everyone of them. You are the God of justice and NONE will escape. This present evil will not overcome the good. But the good will overcome the evil. O Hallelujah! All is NOT lost. America is not hopeless. America is not a withering vine drying up to be cast away. Oh no no no! America will survive by the mighty hand of God. He will raise us up. He will defeat our enemies. He will split the sea. He will send his GLORY to America and the Nations. He will send restoration and revival.
So we tell the devil that he is a liar. And when he comes in like a flood. The LORD will raise floodwaters that are higher than high. The LORD will wipe the enemy and these strongholds out with his mighty, holy and righteous standard! The Hosts of Heaven will prevail in the heavenlies. The Church will prevail on the earth. America will prevail over her enemies. Freedom will prevail. You O LORD will always prevail!
We PRAISE the name of the LORD! Oh yes! Because the LORD is on our side. Because the LORD is high and lifted up and his train fills the temple. He is the righteous King who does not fail his own! Praise the name of the LORD!
