We declare the light giving, fear removing and strengthening Word of the LORD!
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the STRENGTH of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
“When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.
“Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.”
Psalms 27:1-3
O LORD! Our Rock and our Defender and our Deliverer! We cry out to you!
“To You I will cry, O LORD my Rock: Do not be silent to me, Lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.
“Hear the voice of my supplications When I cry to You, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
“Do not take me away with the wicked And with the workers of iniquity, Who speak peace to their neighbors, But evil is in their hearts.
“Give them according to their deeds, And according to the wickedness of their endeavors; Give them according to the work of their hands; Render to them what they deserve.
“Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, Nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them And not build them up.”
Psalms 28:1-5
We will bless the Name of the LORD at all times! We will cry out unto His Name! His praise will continually be on our lips. He is our hope! He is our joy! He is our peace in the midst of the storm!
He has ears to hear and he does.
He has power to overturn the wicked and he does.
He has a strong arm that melts and moves the mountains and he does.
He has grace that is sufficient like the waving waters on the shore.
He has mercy that is unending and new every day.
He has given us salvation, freedom and hope eternal.
We will say: “Blessed be the LORD, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
“The LORD is my STRENGTH and my SHIELD; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.
“The LORD is their STRENGTH, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed. Save Your people, And bless Your inheritance; Shepherd them also, And bear them up forever.”
Psalms 28:6-9
Thank you LORD that you are my strength. You are the strength of my brothers and sisters. You are the strength of our life!
Thank you LORD for being my shield. You are the shield for my brothers and sisters. You are the shield that cannot be broken or penetrated!
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will STRENGTHEN you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the STRENGTH of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalms 73:26
