O Father!
We cry out like David! The imperfect man but a man after your own heart. The sheep herder and the giant slayer. The King and the Psalmist.
O Lord, oppose those who oppose me. Fight those who fight against me. Put on your armor, and take up your shield. Prepare for battle, and come to my aid.
Lift up your spear and javelin against those who pursue me. Let me hear you say, “I will give you victory!” O Hallelujah! Victory!
Yes! We hear the sound of victory. We shut out the sounds of defeat and declare the sound of victory. We will see victory in the camp of the righteous. We speak victory over the Senate Confirmation. We speak defeat to the forked tongued serpents seeking to defame and defile. You will not win this battle!
Ho! We declare over the enemy of the righteous! Bring shame and disgrace on those trying to kill me; turn them back and humiliate those who want to harm me.
We declare to the wicked! O Mighty One. Blow them away like chaff in the wind. A wind sent by the angel of the Lord. Make their path dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them. I did them no wrong, but they laid a trap for me. I did them no wrong, but they dug a pit to catch me.
Ho! You enemies of America. You enemies of President Trump and Vice President Pence. You enemies of goodness, kindness, honesty, integrity and truth. You enemies of the unborn, the children, marriage and family. Woe to you!
We declare disgrace upon you. Disgrace upon your arrogant attitudes and pompous pontifications. You will be reduced to crumbling, mumbling rubble! You will be ruined. You will be caught in your own trap and fall into the pit you dug for the righteous!
We declare that the victory is ours! Then I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be glad because he rescues me. With every bone in my body I will praise him: Lord, who can compare with you? No one! You own the victor’s crown!
May those who rejoice at my troubles be humiliated and disgraced. May those who triumph over me be covered with shame and dishonor. Oh yes!
And we will go forth with rejoicing bringing in the sheaves from the great awakening that will break forth in the land! Oh yes! When the Lord breaks forth, opposes, fights and subdues our enemies to the ends of the earth and gives us the victory!
