Praise the Name of the LORD!
The giver of life!
The creator of the earth!
The friend of sinners!
The lover of our souls!
The maker of it all!
The one who is for us!
We declare Psalms 64 knowing and believing that Our God is on our side. He stands with us. He stands beside us. He stands behind us. He is our shelter and our rock. He surrounds us with his presence. He goes before us at all times and strikes the enemy who comes against us.
“But God himself will shoot them with his arrows, suddenly striking them down.
“Their own tongues will ruin them, and all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
“Then everyone will be afraid; they will proclaim the mighty acts of God and realize all the amazing things he does.
“The godly will rejoice in the LORD and find shelter in him. And those who do what is right will praise him.” Psalms 64:7-10
So we PRAISE the name of the LORD. We lift high his holy and righteous name. The earth praises him as Creator God. The trees clap. The sun shines. The flowers of the field sway with the gentle breezes. The waves lap the seashore in unending praise. The wind blows the breath of His presence. Nothing can stop him. Nothing compares to him. He is mighty. He is holy. He is truth.
We praise Him for his goodness.
We praise Him for his mercy.
We praise Him because he is just and righteous.
We praise Him because he will not continue to strive with these wicked ones destroying his America and his Israel.
We praise Him for breath.
We praise Him for life.
“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” Psalms 150:6
We praise you because you are the beginning and the end. The first and the last. The Alpha and Omega. We start with a praise and end with a praise. We praise away pain and sorrow. We praise away discouragement. We praise away fear. We praise away the enemy.
We fill our lungs with the sweet breath of life and Praise the Name of the LORD who is worthy to be praised! O Hallelujah!
