O LORD of Heaven’s Armies!
Thank you that we are your people. Thank you for your promise of mercy. Thank you for your arms of mercy. Thank you for wrapping them around us and sparing us. Thank you for your watchful eye and your outstretched hand. Thank you for listening to our prayers and declarations.
“Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD LISTENED to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.
“They will be MY people,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be MY OWN SPECIAL TREASURE. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child. Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.” Malachi 3:17-18
O LORD! Our hearts break for those who have fallen prey to this great deception. We pray protection over the masses living in delusion and believing the lies. We pray the light of TRUTH will light up the darkness that has overtaken them.
Even amidst chaos, confusion and deception. We remain your faithful few. We stand in the confidence of Your Word. We stand unchained and unfettered by the chaos and deception around us. We may be few but we are mighty and stand in the authority of the LORD! We know that LITTLE IS MUCH when God is in it.
We remember Gideon. He only needed a mere 300. And that was more than enough to defeat the Midianites. The LORD said to Gideon who was the LEAST of these.
“I am the LORD your God.”
“Mighty hero, the LORD is with you.”
“Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!”
“Do not be afraid. You will not die.” Judges 6
Gideon started as a wimp and became a warrior. So were some of us! You have raised us up into heavenly places. You have given us power. You have emboldened us. You have made us strong and courageous. You have turned the weak into the strong. We are mighty spiritual warriors full of your spirit and truth! We will not be dismayed or distraught because MIGHTY IS OUR GOD!
We remember Jonathon and his armor bearer. They were only TWO. Just TWO! The enemy said “run for your life there are TWO of them!” What a sight that must have been! What a sight to behold!
“Suddenly, PANIC broke out in the Philistine army, both in the camp and in the field, including even the outposts and raiding parties. And just then an earthquake struck, and everyone was terrified.” 1 Samuel 14:15
O Hallelujah! You will always send panic into the camp of the enemy. Even now! We declare it to be so! You will turn their courage to cowardice. You will turn their plans to folly. You will quake and shake their very foundations and they shall melt away in every direction as they are overtaken by sheer panic.
We declare! These arrogant and wicked strongholds will be consumed like burning straw. The LORD! He will rise and consume them - roots, branches and all. He will rise as the great eagle over His precious ones. He will protect. He will save. He will deliver. He is YAHWEH! He is The LORD of Heaven’s Armies!
“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” Malachi 4:2
O Hallelujah! We leap. We dance. We sing. We praise. We are His special treasure! O what JOY divine!
