My Light and My Salvation

Father.

As we near the end of the year 2021. All across the earth. In America. In Israel. In The Nations. Here we are. Here we stand. Here is what we say.

“The LORD is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

“When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.

“Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.”

O Yes! We are confident in the LORD! We desire you, O LORD! We seek after you. We want to dwell with you. Be the God of the Nations! Come and make your habitation in our cities and communities. Come and dwell in our homes.

“For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.

“Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the LORD with music.”

We praise you in this storm because you are right beside us. You will NEVER leave us or forsake us.

Surround us with your mighty presence and give us peace.

Surround those standing up for freedom’s sake and the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Surround President Trump as he navigates through these perilous times. Protect his heart and his mind.

Surround those kept behind bars by unrighteous ones going against the laws of the land. Let the wicked be exposed and the truth be revealed. Let the innocent be released by the power of your great hand. Have mercy! O LORD! Have mercy!

Surround the children of the world! Surround them, O Mighty One!

“Hear me as I pray, O LORD. Be merciful and answer me! My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.”

“Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation!

“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.”

Thank you for holding us close. Thank you for being the light and the lamp. Thank you for being our help and our hope. Thank you for being the light in the dark and surrounding us with your banner of love.

“Teach me how to live, O LORD. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me.

“Do not let me fall into their hands. For they accuse me of things I’ve never done; with every breath they threaten me with violence.

“Yet I am confident I will see the LORD’S goodness while I am here in the land of the living.

“Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.” Psalms‬ ‭27

O Yes. We will wait. We will wait upon the LORD and he shall renew our strength to stand yet another day. He shall lift us up on his mighty eagle wings and we will fly high above the lies and the deception of the enemy. He will renew our strength because He is with us!

We declare the goodness of the LORD is chasing us down. We declare his grace and mercy is chasing us down.

Thank you for shining your light of salvation and waking us up! All across the earth. Our eyes are upon you! You are the light of the world. You are the Hope of the world. We rest in you. Selah.

In Jesus name. Amen.
