We declare the Word of the LORD over America! We prophecy life to her dry bones, health to her people and peace to her shores!
“O LORD, do not rebuke AMERICA in Your anger, Nor chasten her in Your hot displeasure.
Have mercy on AMERICA, O LORD, for she is weak; O LORD, heal AMERICA, for her bones are troubled.
AMERICA’S soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O LORD—how long?
Return, O Lord, deliver AMERICA! Oh, save her for Your mercies’ sake!
For in death there is no remembrance of You; In the grave who will give You thanks?
AMERICA is weary with her groaning; All night she makes her bed swim; She drenches her soil with her tears.
AMERICA’S eyes waste away because of grief; It grows old because of all her enemies.
Depart from AMERICA, all you workers of iniquity; For the LORD has heard the voice of AMERICA’S weeping.
The LORD has heard AMERICA’S supplication; The LORD will receive AMERICA’S prayer.
Let all AMERICA’S enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.”
