Heavenly Father.
We hallow your name. We give you praise. We give your glory. You are a Good Good Father! You love us! You lead us! You guide us with your rod of comfort and your staff of protection. You are Good! You are so so Good!
We lift up the natural fathers here on the earth. We pray the wisdom of the heavenly Father over them. We pray they would give their children good things. Love, hope, peace, kindness, gentleness, long suffering, patience. We pray they would not spare the rod but bring the discipline that children so desperately need and desire.
Thank you LORD for your fatherly example to us. You lead and guide us. You protect us. We are not afraid when you are close by. Not only that! But you are the Father to the Fatherless!
“Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord - rejoice in his presence! Father to the fatherless, defender of widows - this is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” Psalms 68:4-6
Thank you O Holy Father! You not only “father us.” You defend and protect us. YOU SET US FREE! O Hallelujah! YOU FILL US WITH JOY! You will not leave us abandoned. You will not leave our Nation abandoned. Because YOU ARE GOOD! You carry us in your arms. You hold our hands. You hold up our heads. You strengthen our knees You are Sovereign LORD and you are Loving Father.
“Praise the LORD; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign LORD rescues us from death.” Psalms 68:19-20
Heavenly Father. You have carried us like a child when we need comfort and care. You have saved us from our sins and from the snare of the fowler. You have rescued us from death, hell and the grave. You are Father God. You have the key to our hearts, our homes and our Nation. We will remain under your watchful eye and in your arms of care.
In Jesus name. Amen and amen.
