I read Proverbs 6 and feel like we are living in the days of our forefathers. The day of the wicked man. What a precise, on point descriptive term for the days that we live in. Protect us O Lord from the wicked man!
A worthless person, a wicked man walks with a perverse mouth. He winks with his eyes. He shuffles his feet. He points with his fingers. Perversity is in his heart. He devises evil continually. He sows discord. Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly. Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.
We declare SUDDEN CALAMITY upon the wicked men and women of this generation. They have been deceived by the ultimate wicked one. Satan. You do not have what it takes to defeat King Jesus. You can slither, slink and shuffle all over the face of this earth. But in the end. On the great day of the Lord. You will be defeated.
Oh yes! We remind you enemy that you have already been defeated. We rise up with the authority of the Lord and declare victory in the camp. We march around the walls of this modern day Jericho. And we shout out with a voice of triumph and a voice of praise. We call forth the hand of the Lord to break the back of the enemy!
The Lord! He is the Triumphant One! Even though we walk in the flesh. We do not war in the flesh. We war in the Spirit and we tear down these demonic strongholds over the Nation. The Lord will rise up over this darkness and shine forth his glory. All flesh will bow down and He will cause us to be triumphant!
Triumphant in the election. Because no weapon formed against us will prosper. Triumphant in this SCOTUS nomination. Because the Lord God is already on the move. Triumphant in every legislative branch of the government. Local, State and Federal. Because the Lord is setting things right.
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.
O Hallelujah. We shall triumph! We are relentless in our pursuit of the enemy. We are strong in the Lord and the power of his might. We withstand the evil of this day! Oh yes! We wrestle against these principalities and powers and this high headed wickedness. We cast them down in the name of Jesus.
We call down the sudden calamity of the Lord upon the proud looks and lying tongues. Sudden calamity be upon the hands that shed innocent blood. Sudden calamity be upon hearts that devise wicked plans and are swift in running to evil. Sudden calamity be upon the false witness who speaks lies and on the one who sows discord among brethren.
We bring all these vile, wicked things into captivity. We pull down the strongholds, vain imaginations and highly exalted things against the knowledge of God. They will reap calamity and they will be broken. And we stand triumphant over them!
In Jesus name. So be it!
