O Holy One!
We lift up the church in America to you O Holy One enthroned in the heavens. You did not call us to be weak and broken down. You are not coming after a church (remnant) that is limping through the streets, or hiding in caves or sitting in silence. You are coming for a GLORIOUS church. We sing out your praises in the presence of our enemies! We sing out your praises in the face of impeachment. We sing out your praises in the face of deception, lies and tyranny.
You called us ... “so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless.” Ephesians 5:27
Therefore! We must keep our eyes ON Jesus. He is the author and the finisher of our faith. We cannot build our faith up by constantly watching the kabuki theater on display. We cannot build up our faith by clinging to men, theories or lies of the enemy. We must cling to the Word where ALL truth is found. O LORD! Help us! Help your church (remnant) not to be entangled with the affairs of the world. We need to be wrapped up, tied up and tangled up in Jesus to thwart the fiery darts of the enemy.
Paul gives us a final word. It’s a great word. It’s a powerful word. It’s the word to end all words when fighting the battle between good and evil. The Word has given us the tools we need. The Word has given us the ARMOR OF GOD to withstand the devil and his minions.
“A final word: Be STRONG in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil” Ephesians 6:11
We PUT ON the armor and TAKE OFF the alluring, addicting, demonic garments of the enemy. We turn a deaf ear to his words and a blind eye to his antics. We are NOT fighting with flesh and blood but with enemies that are evil rulers and authorities of the unseen realms. We fight against MIGHTY powers in this dark world and evil spirits in the heavenly places. We FIGHT AGAINST and PUSH BACK AGAINST these spiritual foes. In Jesus name!
We put on EVERY PIECE of God’s Armor so we can RESIST the enemy of our minds, hearts and souls. We STAND OUR GROUND. We tighten the BELT OF TRUTH which gives us integrity and moral courage. We put on the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS which gives us a pure and upright heart. We strap on and tie tight the laces of our SHOES OF PEACE to be able to face the enemy sure footed, standing firm and resolute with our faces set like flint shouting out the good news of Jesus!
“Above all, lift up the [protective] SHIELD OF FAITH with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” Ephesians 6:16-17
O Hallelujah! Here we come enemy. Fully clothed in the armor of God!
We will not be DISCOURAGED. We take up courage! We pick it up! We will walk in courage. We will not be governed and ruled by fear! We rebuke the Spirit of Fear! We hold up our Shield of Faith to dispel ALL fear.
We will not be DISMAYED. We will not be in DESPAIR. We squash the feelings of alarm, worry, agitation and hopelessness and we PUT ON JOY! It is our strength!
We will not be DISTRACTED. We push back every distraction that pulls us from truth. We will keep our eyes on Jesus who is leading the charge against our defeated foes. He has the plan! He is the plan!
We pray in the Spirit and with understanding that the battle for America and the Nations has already been won. We wait expectantly to see the salvation of the LORD! We will stay ALERT. We pray for our brothers and sisters all across the earth. Strength! Courage! Hope! Let faith arise! We lift up holy hands without fear and doubting and PRAISE the Name of the LORD! He is worthy of praise!
