O Father.
We pause today to thank you for this beautiful earth that you have given us.
The sun in the sky by day.
The moon in the sky by night.
The stars that twinkle and shine.
The seas that roar.
The streams that trickle.
The rivers that flow.
The mountains that rise to lofty heights.
The trees of the field that clap their hands.
The wispy flowers in grassy fields.
The creatures that run and creep and crawl.
The birds that fly through the air.
The eagles that soar to lofty heights.
Thank you for all of these things so wonderfully and beautifully created by You. And yet you love us more than all of these marvelous creations. You tell us that we are precious in your sight. You hold us in your hands and your Spirit lives within us.
The whole earth sings of your majesty and glory. And so do we. We lift your name on high. We tell of your goodness. And we praise your holy and your righteous name.
“Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.
Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.
