Yahweh.
We stand at the door and knock. We know you hear us. We know you will answer. We know your Word is truth. We know you are the one true God. We are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been given all power. That’s what we need to know! That’s what we need to hear!
We pick up the gauntlet that’s been laid down. And we rise up like Gideon and his few men of 300. And then the Spirit of the Lord! Oh yes! The Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon and clothed him with power. Hallelujah! When we are weak. You come along in your strength. And you endue us with power from on high. You give us what we need to fight back the darkness. Push back the very gates of hell. Tear down every stronghold. Cast down every ruler of darkness. And pluck up every root of evil.
You said! Go in the strength you have! Thank you God for strength! Strengthen the feeble knees and weak hands of the remnant. Cause us to rise to new heights. Give us eagle’s wings to soar above the distractions that seek our attention. We give them no thought. We give them no place. We do not eat the bitter roots of the news or social media or the latest conspiracy theory. We pluck them up one by one and destroy them. We eat only of the fruit of the vine. Jesus! The Word is our only hope!
You said! I will be with you! We declare these words over President Trump and Vice President Pence. Holy Spirit be with them. Lead and guide them in your holy wisdom. We declare health over them. Covid will not come nigh them or their families or their dwelling places. It will not. Protect them from the onslaught of the enemy. In the mighty name of Jesus. We declare no weapon formed against them will prosper. It will not. We declare no weapon formed against the November elections will prosper. It will not. We declare freedom in the land!
We say! We will cross this mighty Jordan River of hype and hysteria shooting at us from all directions. We will remain calm in the storm. We will remain focused on the prize. We will not falter to the left or to the right. But! In the mighty name of Jesus. We run after our enemies. We pursue. We. Chase. Them. Down.
We pick up blazing torches in our left hand and horns in our right. And we shout at the edge of the enemies camp! We shout them down with the Word of the Lord. For the Word of the Lord is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
Oh yes! Expose them! Expose the enemy. Every evil plot, plan and scheme. From the top to the bottom. Expose every lie. Every misdeed. Every deception. Expose the enemy for who he is and what he has done. He will pay for this demonic onslaught. We declare it by the Word of the Lord.
We will cross this river of hype, hysteria and hypocrisy. We will chase our enemies down. They will be consumed by the rushing waters of the Spirit of the Most High God. We will sing a song of deliverance!
