Gracious Father.
Another week. And here we go. We watch this mess and just stand amazed at our Nation. We just shake our heads at the insanity going on. With rioters. With covid. With politics. The drama just never ends. It’s mind boggling. Thank you that your Word offers peace and hope. It lightens the load and lifts us up. So we concentrate on you and your Word. That’s our saving grace!
If it were not for you on our side. What would we do? Tell me. What would we do? You are the rock that gives us strength. You are the shelter from the storm!
When all else fails. When it seems the world will just fall apart. Fall away. And fall off. We declare the Word of the Lord! You’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble. More than enough and always available whenever we need you. So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. Oh yes! If it all falls and crumbles away. We will still be standing on the rock solid Christ Jesus.
We say! We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Jesus! We stand on your Word. You will deliver us. When our minds are too full to even think. You show up with the refreshing waters of your spirit. Soothe our souls.
We declare your life giving Word over your people! God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places. God! Yes! Dwell with us. Be in the midst of us. Sit down with us. Talk to us. Listen to us. Send us your joy unspeakable. Your joy is our lifeline of strength! Strength to our hearts and minds and spirits.
We say! When the nations are in an uproar with their tottering kingdoms. God simply raises his voice and the earth begins to disintegrate before him. Here he comes! The Commander! The mighty Lord of the Angel Armies is on the move. On our side. The God of Jacob fights for us! Raise your voice! Oh Mighty One! Raise it and say enough! Enough! Enough! Slay our enemies before us. Scatter them from the face of the earth.
He fights for us! Oh yes! He fights for us. Hallelujah! He shows up for us. He goes before us. He doesn’t leave us to fight the battles alone. He sees it all. He knows it all. He is in control of it all. He will lead us to victory. We declare it! Victory in the upcoming Presidential election. We declare victory over every lying corrupt politician and the false prophets of media. We declare victory over the economy.
We are not ignorant of satan’s devices and strategies. We declare victory over covid. In Jesus name. We know it’s politicized. We know it’s exaggerated. We know they are holding this over our heads. We know they are forcing things on us. We know it! Move! Almighty God! Move on our behalf!
We declare victory over this insidious plot against our country, her people and the economy. We pull down the strongholds that continue to tighten their grips. We pull them down. In Jesus name. We plead the blood of Jesus! We plead the blood of Jesus! We plead the blood of Jesus over our homes, our families and our children.
Oh Lord Most High. Deliver us with your strong hand. Rescue us by your might. Come to us with your rivers of cleansing and healing. Wash our land clean. Bring a spring back to our step and a sparkle back in our eyes. Bring joy and delight back to your people.
