O LORD!
We praise your name!
In the good times.
In the bad times.
When things are upside down.
When threats come from every side.
When the turbulence of the times shakes us to the core.
When the earth shakes and groans.
When evil seems to prevail.
When all looks lost … We will PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!
“Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul!
While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; In that very day his plans perish.
HAPPY is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,
Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever,
Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord LOVES the righteous.
The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down.
The Lord shall reign FOREVER — Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord!”
Psalms 146:1-10
Thank you, O Holy One, that you are God over the blind, the bowed down, the righteous, the strangers, the fatherless and the widow.
You are the God who turns the wicked upside down. You will thwart their plans in your marvelous timing because you are the LORD who reigns!
Thank you, O Holy One, that you are the God “to all generations”. We pray for the generations now and to come. Those living now and those not yet born. We pray that they would come to know you.
We trust you Jesus! We praise you Jesus! You finished the work on the Cross. You have given us life, help and hope! ALL OF OUR HOPE IS IN YOU!
You have given us your Word.
You have given us what we need.
You have given us salvation and a hope for the future.
You have made us happy.
You have made us glad. You have made us overcomers. You have made us victorious.
You have made us free.
So we Praise the Name of the Lord. Our Savior and Soon Coming King!
In Jesus name.
Amen.
