Abba Father.
Can we just be real? Can we just shake our heads? Can we just close our eyes and this will all go away? Oh my goodness. The insanity of it all. We just need to hear a Word from you and we know where to go. The Good Book! It says it all. It covers it all. It sums it all up.
So this is where we are Abba Father! You’ve already said it. You knew it would happen and we are living in difficult and perilous times. We are SO glad that we have you to lean upon and your Word to lead us, guide us and encourage us.
“You should KNOW this, Timothy, that IN THE LAST DAYS there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful.
“They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good.
“They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!”
2 Timothy 3:1-5
Check. Check and check. We can check all these off the list. O LORD! We are surrounded by blithering buffoons. They do not know up from down. They are deceived and derelict in their hearts and minds. They need revelation light to shine in their darkness. So even in our disbelief and dismay at this demonic lunacy, we ask you to touch them, deliver them, wake them and bring them to a Damascus Road experience. Turn these modern day Sauls into Pauls.
We ask you to WAKE UP the lukewarm and complacent church and send them down the Damascus Road too. We ask you to keep the Righteous Remnant alert, anointed, focused and clearheaded. We need to STAND STRONG. We need to OCCUPY until you come. We need to put on the Armor of God to withstand the onslaught of the enemy. To withstand the tyranny. To withstand the lies and deception and let our lights outshine the darkness.
“But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night.” 1 Thessalonians 5:4-5
O Mighty One! Give us strength not to conform to the world but to transform the world around us! O Hallelujah!
We must STAND OUR GROUND. We must STAY ON GUARD! Never give up. Never give in. Never stop praying. Never stop believing. Never doubt but keep walking in faith. We must stay attuned to the Holy Spirit and let him work in us and among us. We need to not scoff at prophecy but test what is said. We must hold onto what is good and shun every kind of evil.
We are the called. We are the chosen. He who has called us is FAITHFUL! He has not left us. He is with us. He has not abandoned us. He dwells within us. He is here in America! He is with the Nations! We have ALL fallen short but he has saved us by his GLORIOUS GRACE!
“For God chose to SAVE us through our Lord Jesus Christ, NOT to pour out his anger on us. Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11
Thank you LORD for encouragement. We encourage each other in the LORD in these wild and crazy times. When others would try to stifle us and bring us down, you lift us up above the shadows and plant our feet on higher ground! O Hallelujah!
