Abba.
It’s a rough day. The passing of Carman. A stalwart and champion in the spiritual world. The passing of Rush Limbaugh. A stalwart and champion of America and freedom. Both knew you. Both loved you. Both are resting in your peace. We honor their memory tonight. Selah.
“The LORD is my Shepherd. I lack nothing.”
He is everything I need. He is everything the church needs. He is everything the government needs. He is everything America and the Nations need. He is everything the grieving and the hurting need.
“He lets me rest in green meadows. He leads me beside peaceful streams.”
He is the peace in the midst of every storm. He is peace during life and he is peace in death. He is our peace. He is wonderful peace coming down from the Father above. Sweet peace! Sweep over our spirits tonight!
“He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.”
Abba. Renew our strength across America. Strengthen the grieving families tonight. Even though we don’t always understand your ways. You are good and you are faithful. Strengthen our faith as we glorify your name. Sometimes through tears. Sometimes through laughter.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. You are with me. Your rod and your staff they comfort me.”
Be our comfort. Be our guide. Let us feel your presence close. Jesus! You are as close as the mention of your name. We whisper out your name and you fill us with hope. There is ALWAYS HOPE!
“You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.”
We are blessed. Oh yes! We are blessed even in the midst of our enemies. Even in the midst of trials and tribulations. We lift up holy hands without fear and doubt. We praise your HOLY and your RIGHTEOUS name and declare that we are the blessed of the LORD!
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me ALL the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the LORD FOREVER.”
You are a good good Father. We want to dwell with you. In your mercy, come and dwell among us tonight. Among the grieving. Among the lost and confused. Among the remnant. Oh yes! Come and dwell with us and within us. We TRUST you in the MIDST OF IT ALL.
“To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3
Through the darkness You always bring light and You are making everything right! Selah.
