May 26 / Morning Prayer

Father. We start over again. This week. We pull out all the stops. We press in even more. We will not give up. Give in or give out. We shout from the rooftops that you reign. You reign. You reign. You reign. Your kingdom is without end. You were from the beginning. You will be to the end. Your mercy is from everlasting to everlasting. How can we not just stop a moment and praise your name! Selah.

Yes! We stop for just a moment and we think. We remember. We remember what is was like about 3 months ago. When everything hit the proverbial fan. It seems like a lifetime ago. Life as we know it stopped. Suddenly. Everything changed. Nevertheless! Oh Holy One! We are not like those who have no hope. Oh no! We are expecting another suddenly!

We call forth a better America in Jesus name. Suddenly! The economy will come roaring back with a fiery gusto that leaves the naysayers speechless. Suddenly! President Trump will overcome his enemies and they will be put to shame. Suddenly! Covid19 will be obliterated and annihilated by the Hand of the Lord. Hallelujah! We declare it!

Suddenly! The church of the Living God rises and votes their biblical values. Oh yes! Suddenly! Death gives way to victory. Yes! Suddenly! The church will rise and shake off the dust of years of compromise. We will loose the ties that have had us bound. Be loosed! In the Mighty Name of a Jesus! Oh yes! We have been called. We have been chosen. You! Oh Mighty One. You know our name. Yes! You do. And we are written on the palm of your hand. Hallelujah! We will shake off the shackles and rise!

Suddenly! Everything becomes new. We will not return to complacency. We will not return to business as usual. We have changed our game plan. We have chosen the side of The Lord of the Heavenly Hosts. Jesus Christ is leading the charge. The Holy Spirit is equipping us for battle. We are anticipating victory. Yes! Victory will be ours in the name of Jesus. We’ve got our shouting shoes on and we will will shout with a voice of triumph. Ho! We will shout with a voice of praise.

We are expecting you! Oh Lord of Heaven’s Hosts. Move move move suddenly. In the midst of America. In the midst of the church. Oh! Yes!

In Jesus name. Amen.

Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of what God had prepared for the people, for the thing came about suddenly.
