Abba Father.
We strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And we run with endurance the race you have set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Yes Lord. Perfect our faith. Cause it to rise up!
Jesus. You are the only undefeated champion! We cannot lose with you. We declare! You will defeat every principality and power set up against your church. You will defeat every ruler in the high places that has set out to destroy this country and her President. You will utterly destroy and annihilate covid by the stripes that you took on your back. They were for every sickness and every disease. You are our healer. You are our help. You are our hope.
Jesus! You said. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. An abundant life. That is your promise to us. We stand on it. We believe it. We declare it. Your promises are always yes and amen.
Jesus! You said. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me. My Father has given them to me. He is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. No one! No enemy. No demon. No Marxist. No liars. No deceivers. No sickness. Nothing nothing nothing can separate us from him.
Jesus! You said. I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Oh! Merciful Savior. Thank you for your light that shines in our darkness. We can’t see clearly. We can’t see our way out. We can’t feel our way out. We can’t think our way out. But we can PRAY our way out. Hallelujah! This one thing we know! More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.
Oh Savior of the World! You are sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. Come and save us! We lean into you. We lean into the presence of the Lord. Oh Savior of the World! We call forth your light to outshine the darkness that surrounds us. Send us your peace to calm the panic and chaos of the day. Send us your truth to drown out the lies.
Thank you Jesus for your life giving words. You are help. You are hope. You are life.
