Father.
Thank you for your Word. It is our foundation. From beginning to the end it points to Jesus - the Author and the Finisher.
He is the rock of our salvation.
He is our deliverer.
He is The Eternal Word!
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
John 1:1-5
Jesus! You are the life. You have given us abundant life full of love, joy and peace in the midst of heartache, toil and strife.
You are the light. You are the “light of the world”! You are Son of Man and Son of God in whom there is no darkness!
You are the Savior of the world! You have given us the right to become the children of God if we believe on your name.
We believe! O Yes! We believe!
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon HIS shoulder. And HIS name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of HIS government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
Isaiah 9:6-7
Thank you Lord that the governments are yours!
You are in control.
You are in charge.
You are the king.
You have the final say.
You have already won the victory and your banner goes before us!
“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”
And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner;”
Exodus 17:14-15
You are Jehovah Nissi and we stand behind your banner (sign, ensign, pole, flag and standard)! It covers, protects and give us victory!
O Hallelujah!
And Lord, based upon Your Word …
We walk in peace, love and joy.
We walk in the light of your love and forgiveness.
We walk unafraid and unshamed as your people.
We walk covered in your mercy and your grace.
Your Spirit leads and guides us in our daily walk while we remain rooted and grounded in your Word.
