Yahweh.
The self existent one. I am that I am. The LORD! You are all we need. You are all we want. You have everything. You hold everything. You are everything. Come and reside with us.
Come and bring refreshing to your people. Refresh our hearts. Our minds. Our spirits. Our bodies. Come and bring rest to your people. Bring rest to moms and dads and kids. Rest to our heroic police officers and National Guard. Bring rest to President Trump. Pour out supernatural rest upon him. Revive his spirit. Restore his soul.
We come tonight to dwell in you richly. Show us the depth of your love. When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. Oh! Thank you for your rich love that never changes. That does not fade in and out.
O Lord. Show us how wide and deep you love us all. Oh! How you love us! Even our enemies. Oh! How You love them! Even those covered and immersed in deep dark deception. Even those howling out hatred and rage. Those spewing venom against us. Oh! How you love them.
The mobs screamed for Jesus to be crucified. They beat him and tortured him and hung him up to die. And he cried out Father! Forgive them for they know what they do. And we cry out over our enemies. Father! Forgive our enemies. Lost in a quagmire of hatred and rage with no way of escape. Except for your never ending forgiveness, mercy and grace.
Bring deliverance, healing and salvation to our enemies. Shine your light of love down on them. Change their hearts. Create in them a clean new heart. They are worth saving. Yes. They are worth saving. They are all precious souls in your sight.
Turn these hateful riots into riotous laughter and joy. Turn the riots into revivals. It’s not just a cliche! You changed water to wine. You changed storms to calm. You changed ragtag disciples to world changers. You changed dead to life. You can change anyone and any situation. We call it forth! In Jesus name. Turn this mess into a message and this test into a testimony!
Bring swift justice to those who have been wronged. Comfort those who have suffered great loss at the hands of the enemy. Heal the sick. Heal the wounded. Refresh the weary. Protect the innocent. Wrap us all in your love. Empower us. Make us strong.
