Come out of the Cave

We look to you. We will not be overwhelmed. Give us ears to hear your voice. Blot out all the voices and chatter. Blot out all the distractions. We long to hear your voice in our own spirit. Come and speak to us. Speak. Father speak.

We are reminded of Elijah hiding in the cave. The Lord said. Go out and stand before me on the mountain. And as Elijah stood there, the Lord passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the Lord was not in the wind.

After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.

And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave.

Speak Lord. We stand at the edge and listen. We shut down the false prophets of media. We shut down social media. We shut down the tv, the iPhone and the podcast. And we pick up your Word and we listen for your voice.

Give us discernment through your Word. Give us direction in your word. Give us decisive weapons to fight this demonic onslaught coming against the church. Against the family core and morality. Against America, President Trump and our freedoms.

In Jesus name. We bind the strongholds setup over this nation and the world. We bind them on earth to be bound in heaven. Almighty God. Loose your spirit wind and push back the principalities and powers of darkness and dethrone the evil rulers in high places. Give these terrorists a giant setback in their plans. Drain their desire. Drain their funding. And drain the swamp too.

We will not be alarmed. We will not let fear take over. We will stand in faith on the Word of God. We come out of the cave like Elijah and we listen for YOUR voice.

In Jesus name. Amen.
