O LORD of Hosts!
You have given us a blessed assurance! You are in complete control. We lay ALL these things at your feet. These things are too MANY to number and it can be truly overwhelming for our human minds, hearts and spirits.
HOWEVER! These things are FEW and FUTILE in your sight! You are the maker and the creator of the sun, moon and stars. The earth is in your hands. You are the LORD!
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27
O LORD!
Even in judgement. Even in strife. Even when we see injustice. Even when nations turn their back on God. Even when Babylon (that ancient evil) seeks to destroy all that is good and righteous.
Even when we fail You and forsake Your Holy Name. Even when we discard your precepts. Even when we have “turned the back and not the face”.
“And they have turned to Me the back, and not the face; though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction.”
Jeremiah 32:33
We repent and turn our ways around to face you! We will worship you and we will praise you. We will trust you because THERE IS A HOPE!
O Hallelujah!
You are the Redeemer of Israel and the Nations. You are our hope! You are our joy! You are our peace! You said after all these things and after my anger - “I will cause them to dwell in safety”.
O LORD! You said!
“Now therefore, thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city of which you say, ‘It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence’:
“Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will CAUSE them to dwell safely.
“They shall be My people, and I will be their God;
“then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.
“And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.
“Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’
“For thus says the LORD: ‘Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.”
Jeremiah 32:38-42
Thank you, O Holy and Righteous LORD that you said it! You meant it. You will CAUSE it to come to pass. Thank you for your promises of restoration even when all seems lost.
All across the earth. From north to south and east to west. For every nation, tribe and tongue. We ask for your “health and healing”. We ask you to dwell among us. We ask you to draw us close.
We ask you to cleanse our hearts.
We ask you to cleanse the nations.
We ask you to cleanse our courts and governments.
We ask for your protection in troubled times. We ask you to protect your church throughout the earth. We ask you for strength. We ask you for courage to stand against the grain and stand upon Your Word of Truth.
We ask you for revelation knowledge.
We ask you for discernment to discern the times.
“Thus says the LORD who made it, the LORD who formed it to establish it (the LORD is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’”
Jeremiah 33:2-3
We will be your people.
We ask you to be Our God.
