The Feast of the Trumpets!
“Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. On the first day of the appointed month in early autumn, you are to observe a day of complete rest. It will be an official day for holy assembly, a day commemorated with loud blasts of a trumpet. You must do no ordinary work on that day. Instead, you are to present special gifts to the LORD.” Leviticus 23:24-25
What a day for trumpets to sound!
O what a glorious thought! Selah.
O LORD! We present ourselves to you today as your blood bought children. As kings and priests to your Kingdom. The Kingdom without end. The Kingdom that cannot be shaken. We present ourselves to the King of Kings who is triumphant over death, hell and the grave.
We say blessed be the Name of the LORD who always causes us to triumph.
We say the LORD is our strong tower and our refuge.
We say the LORD is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask, think, or imagine.
We say who are you O Mountain that you would not bow down!
We say to the enemy!
“Nothing, not even a mighty mountain, will stand in Zerubbabel’s way; it will become a level plain before him! And when Zerubbabel sets the final stone of the Temple in place, the people will shout: ‘May God bless it! May God bless it!’” Zechariah 4:7
We say God bless the earth!
We say grace to the earth!
We say mercy to the earth!
We say mountains must fall!
We say seas must part!
We say the trumpet will sound and all the earth will see His GLORY!
O Hallelujah!
We say blow the trumpet in Zion. Sound the alarm in the holy mountain. Let all the earth know that Our God Reigns. He reigns in majesty and in power. He reigns eternal. He reigns supreme. He reigns as the peace maker. He is the God of Shalom! YAHWEH-SHALOM: “The Lord Our Peace!” Judges 6:24
We declare SHALOM to the earth.
Nothing missing. Nothing broken.
We declare SHALOM over the sick.
We declare SHALOM over the fearful.
We declare SHALOM over the church.
We declare that the peace of God that passes all understanding will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus!
Thank you LORD for your Word. How it leaps in our hearts. How it moves us. How it convicts us. How it comforts us. How it leads us. How it guides us. How it leaps off the pages and literally comes alive to all those who would dare to open its pages.
So we thank you. O God of the Mountains! We praise you. We give you glory. You are more than worthy of all the honor, the glory and the praise. Selah.
