O Father!
Your Word reminds us today that we are blessed!
We are blessed in the city and in the country in spite of opposition. We are blessed in our comings and goings. We are blessed when we obey your Word.
“How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
“But his delight is in the law of Yahweh, And in His law he meditates day and night.
“And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.
ҦThe wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
“Therefore the wicked will not rise in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
“For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.”
Psalms 1:1-6
Thank you Lord that we are blessed with the light of your Word.
Your Word is truth.
Your Word is infallible.
Your Word encourages us.
Your Word strengthens is.
Your Word is a light to our feet and a lamp to our path.
Your Word shows the way of the righteous and the end of the ungodly.
We are truly blessed with your unchanging Word!
And we delight in your Word.
And we delight in your goodness.
And we delight in your grace and in your mercy.
And we delight in your unfailing love.
And we delight in your faithfulness.
And in the times and seasons to come, all the Nations of the earth will call you blessed!
