This is our prayer today during these troublesome times. They are uncertain but exciting BECAUSE we know that You are in control.
“Now may our God and Father Himself, and our LORD Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.
“And may the LORD make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,
“so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ with all His saints.”
I Thessalonians 3:11-13
Therefore, O Holy One.
We will walk as you say to walk.
We will talk as you say to talk.
We will do as you say to do.
“… But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more,
“and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you,
“so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.”
1 Thessalonians 4:10-12 ESV
Help us, O Father, to be dependent on You and You alone. Not looking to the left or to the right. But keeping our eyes on Jesus who is the author of it ALL and the finisher of it ALL.
He began the good work and he will bring the good work to pass in America, Israel and the Nations. It all points to Jesus! It all points to His return. It all points to His Word.
“For the LORD Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
“Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
“Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
I Thessalonians 4:16-18
We don’t know the day or the hour. But we will rest in Your Word. It is truth. It is life. It is light. It is freedom.
In Jesus name.
